A new shipment of cheap and cheerful travellers arrived today so are now carrying good supplies of Travel Slugs (Gold and Nickel), Travel Ingots, Travel Pirates and Travel Turtles.

Sitting in the wings waiting to be photographed are Travel GPS and Travel Dragons, these are the same price ($9.95) and also available for purchase, let us know if you’d like to get your hands on some before they hit the store.

Due to life, work and car dramas [yes, again] we were a little behind with releasing the last issue of gifted geocoins and our first geogem recipient but we got there in the end and on 13th March 4 more green Kiwi Nomad Geocoins were released along with 1 geogem. If you’d like to track these gifts on their missions, or perhaps even lend a helping hand if you come across them, you can find them on our Released Trackables page.

Today we emailed the last 3 recipients of the GeoGems and 5  more recipients of our Translucent Green Kiwi Nomad geocoins so as soon as we hear back from the new owners these will be released into the wild, hopefully from one of newly placed caches that will be going down later this month.

This year we have gifted 4 GeoGems and 12 of our green kiwi nomads… for now we are taking a wee breather but we have a couple more green nomads stashed away for a rainy day… and with winter slowly creeping upon us I don’t think it will be too long before they find new owners so stay tuned.

I’m have many gems in my life, my husband Andrew, the main half WackyB, is one such gem, he can also be quite a handful at times but most of the time I wouldn’t trade him for my morning coffee

I’m also blessed to have 2 more gems in my daughters who at 17yrs and 18yrs come jam packed full of life, trials and tribulations, joys and tears, laughter, smiles and hugs…  they make me proud to be their Ma

My parents are also pure gems as they have ridden all our the highs and lows and have been there every step of the way, cheering and supporting from the sidelines.

Friends, be they online or offline, caching buddies, work colleague and neighbours are all gems too… in fact when you start to think about it I’m sure you’ll soon realise that your life is actually scattered with many precious gems… which is leads me to my next gifting idea…
